Pre-concert confab

Dwight Corley, president of the Suphur Springs Symphony League (right), visits with Concert Master Dr. Andrej Kurti (left) and Maestro Dr. Doug Bakenhaus moments prior to the symphony league’s 15th Annual Children’s Concert in Hopkins County Regional Civic Center. The orchestra began with Rossini’s “The Barber of Seville Overture,” and included “The Thrill of the Orchestra” by Russell Peck in the program. Elementary school students from Hopkins County attend the free concert each year, which is usually scheduled prior to their spring break.
