Cumby bank to showcase Rockwall artist

A special art exhibit is planned to show off Rockwall artist Curtis Frederick’s work in the renovated Cumby State Bank building.

Some might say the show came about serendipitously.

Earle Tooke of Dallas, who now owns the old bank building at 201 West Main St. in Cumby, said he was looking for land to buy outside of the Dallas Fort Wort Metroplex when he happened upon the for sale sign on the old bank building in Cumby.
