Meal A Day running low on volunteer drivers

Two people with an hour on their hands, a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are being sought to help out a program that provides a daily meal to shut-ins, disabled and elderly Sulphur Springs residents.

Firefighters worked for more than 11 hours to extinguish a fire which destroyed a Connally Street home Tuesday evening. No one was hurt in the fire, but the residents lost all of their belongings.
