Sheriff’s Posse plans 9/11 tribute at Fall Fest Parade

A special tribute honoring firefighters who died on 9/11 will be included in the Sept. 10 Fall Festival Parade kicking off the 42nd Annual Hopkins County Fall Festival, according to Sheriff's Posse member Mike Rushin.


Police focusing on drunk drivers this weekend

Sulphur Springs police — like many officers across the state — will be paying special attention to drivers this holiday weekend, looking for people driving while intoxicated or impaired.
