City crime down 21%, lowest level in 13 years

Crime in Sulphur Springs fell to a 13-year low in 2011, a dip of about 21 percent from 2010. In fact, the 188 crimes reported to Sulphur Springs Police in 2011 cut in half the annual tally of 375 posted in 1999.
