Rick and Judy Petty were in Killeen to see their grandson, Tyler Petty, compete in his district swim meet. Tyler had a great meet and got medals in all of his events. Ken and Suzi Chapman were also there to cheer him on.
Linda Andrasko came to visit Sandra Wester on Friday, Jan. 18, and then Kelly Lawrence came to visit with them Saturday afternoon. Patti Wiebold visited with
them on Saturday afternoon and Sunday. Kelly returned to McKinney Sunday night, and Linda stayed for a few days.
Mary Lou and Joe Jeter came to visit Sandra Wester Thursday afternoon. Linda Andrasko visited with them for a while and then returned to Henderson. They enjoyed visiting, watched a movie and took care of several household matters. Lou cooked several delicious meals. They went to Paris on Monday and enjoyed lunch at Sirloin Stockade. Linda arrived to visit Tuesday morning.
Senior Night at North Hopkins School is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 1, beginning at 4:30 p.m. The basketball teams will be playing against McLeod.
North Hopkins PTO is sponsoring a “That's My Girl” dance on Feb. 9 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the school cafeteria.
Tiffany, Kenden and Jaidyn Joslin spent Friday night and Saturday, Jan. 18-19, at Holly Lake Resort. They took advantage of the nice weather to enjoy the outdoor activities. This past Saturday, Tiffany spent the day with her friend, Stephanie (Cobb) Weaver, in Plano. Kenden, Jaidyn and Rylan Joslin spent Friday night and Saturday with Chip and me. On Saturday, Jaidyn and I visited with Natali Lawson in Point, and then and did some shopping in Sulphur Springs. Malcolm and Morgan Joslin attended the Community Emergency Response Team training in Sulphur Springs on both of those Saturdays. Jaidyn and Kenden Joslin attended a birthday party for their cousin, Chyloe, at Skate Magic on Sunday afternoon.
