Sherry Smiddy reports, “Last week, Daylee Fite played her first game of fall ball this year. The 'Blue Flames' lost by two, but it was a fun game. Sandra Wester, Sherry Smiddy, Powell Vickery, Cody Fite, Aysha Day, Brandi Day, Lesley Owens, and Debbie and Bobby Harris were all there to cheer for her, along with her dad, the coach, Chanse Fite. On Wednesday, Sandra Wester went with Sherry to watch Daylee at gymnastics and had dinner with her. Sandra also helped Daylee put out Halloween decorations. Fun times!”

Dacy, Eli and Elise Campbell, as well as Destri Weir, visited Robert Weir on Oct. 7 for a slightly late birthday celebration. On Wednesday, Oct. 10, Dakota Weir, Kerstie Busby, and Robert, Yvonne and Wesley Weir went to the State Fair. Yvonne says, “It was fun but very expensive.”

Mick and Linda Petty's granddaughter, Reagan, was in over the weekend for fall break and spent the night with them on Friday night. On Sunday, they were all were treated to a steak lunch at Shelly (Reagan's mom) and Paul Vittitow's home. Others in attendance were Caleb and Heather Bagwell, Hesston Humphrey and Fay Burns. Reagan then headed back to college in Missouri.

The Horn family gathered for their annual reunion on Saturday at the Tira Community Center. Thirty-three attended and enjoyed visiting, looking at photos, and, of course, eating.
