Sandra Wester, Linda Andrasko and Mary Lou Jeter went to Hot Springs, Ark., last Tuesday. They spent most of the day touring Garvan Woodland Gardens on Wednesday. They enjoyed dinner on Lake Hamilton at Fisherman's Wharf that evening, and then enjoyed playing Rummikub that night. Thursday was a cold, wet day, but they visited some shops downtown and walked by several of the bath houses. After a late lunch, they decided to get in out of the weather at the Hot Springs Mall. That night they enjoyed a shortened game of Mexican Train dominoes. They returned to Tira on Friday. Sandra reports that the foliage around Lake Hamilton and Lake Catherine was beautiful, and they enjoyed their Arkansas getaway. Joe Jeter arrived from Temple Friday evening, and they all enjoyed burgers, fries and onion rings at Big Jon's in Cooper Friday night. Mary Lou and Joe left for Temple Saturday morning with a stop in Sulphur Springs at the VF Outlet. Linda and Sandra enjoyed a lazy weekend together. Patti Wiebold visited with them Saturday afternoon.
