Casey, Tiffany and Joseph Durst ate lunch and dinner with J.R. and Donna on Saturday. On Sunday, J.R. and Donna met Amy, Kyle and Cooper in Antlers, Okla., for Amy's birthday lunch. After they ate, they all went to Amy's house in Finley, where Cooper was the entertainment. Everybody had a good time. Congratulations are in order for Chuck Olmsted of Tira and Karen Hall of Mount Pleasant. They have announced that they plan to be married on Oct. 2.
Dorothy Hargrave reports that “once again, on June 5, 2010, the families of Britnell, King, Speaks, Braden and Lewis met at the Tira Community Center for their annual reunion.” She says, “It was a lovely day and enjoyed by those in attendance. A wonderful potluck meal, good news, and bad news was shared. Morgan Joslin, along with other athletes from North Hopkins school, attended a “running camp” in Sulphur, Okla., over the weekend. Tiffany Joslin went along as one of the sponsors. The group spent Friday through Sunday camping at the Chickasaw National Recreation Area. The athletes were preparing for the upcoming cross-country season.
