I guess one of the biggest things in the community this week has to do with the Miller Grove Baptist Church. Their pastor, Bro. Jerry Clements, resigned last Sunday after the morning service. He preached the Sunday night service before his resignation took effect.
Mr. Watson, Ms. Potts and various students begin leaving for the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo this week. They will be gone throughout spring break. I believe our ag mechanics class will be taking a trailer that they build this year. Good luck to everyone who has an a project to show at Houston.

Happy 10th anniversary to Sheena and Heath McCraw on March 9. I remember going to their wedding. It seems like yesterday that they were married at the Country Club in Cooper.
Remember to set your clocks forward one hour this coming Saturday night. I’m always glad when it stays light longer in the afternoons. Seems like you can get more done when you have to work outside in your yard.
If anyone in the area is a World War II veteran or you know someone with Miller Grove connections that is a veteran of WWII please let me know. We will be honoring the veterans of WWII at the Miller Grove Cemetery Memorial Day this May.
