You all have heard the expression “Curiosity killed the cat.” Well here goes, can anyone tell me where all the dirt is coming from? For the last month, there have been a minimum of three trucks full
of dirt heading out of County Road 1100. I am just curious. These trucks must have hauled out enough dirt to fill in Cowboy Stadium.
Cumby Telephone reception was nice today. I ran into the Brashear Store group coming out as I went in. They loaded up on goodies and were headed home. They are all so friendly.
We have noticed an abundance of hawks in Brashear lately. I guess all the hunters know that they are on the endangered species list. Please do not shoot them. We have had a lot of shots being fired in our area. I have been concerned because my grandchildren love to play and run out in the pasture around our house. Please be careful when shooting your guns.
The houses that are decorated for Christmas are looking good. Thank you, Randy and Joanne Potter, for always doing such a great job in decorating your house.
Is anyone else having some cracks appear in their foundation, driveway or rooms in your house? This drought is playing havoc with our foundation. Remember to keep watering your foundation or there may be some serious problems later.
Does anyone know of a small house in Brashear to rent? I have a friend that is looking for somewhere to live and asked me to ask around. So, if you do know of a small house that does not need much work, please call me at 903-612-8806.
Many opportunities to help others during this season — Blue Santa and Empty Stocking are two locally. They need people to donate toys and people to volunteer to help fill Empty Stocking boxes. Look around, there is always some way you can help out others in our community.
