BRASHEAR NEWS for Dec. 21, 2011

E-mail Print PDF
Well, here I am again back in good ol' Brashear. I had the good fortune of staying with my grandchildren last week to help my daughter out. So, no Brashear News.

I am beginning to think that I might have to give up this column because all the news is about the “Youngs.” I know not everyone is interested in what is going on in my world. Please let me know if everyone agrees that the column may only be every other week.

During the holiday season, I am feeling blessed and wondering if everyone has taken the time to count their blessings. We have come in contact with some very dear people who are experiencing hard times. I know that jobs are hard to find in our area and there are several people hurting for funds. Please pray for these people, and may the miracle of jobs come about for them.

Rain has been wonderful. In the past two weeks, we have gotten about 2.5 inches of rain. We’ve actually seen some of the pools in the area have begun to show some depth. I hope your pools are filling up. We have green grass growing out here in Brashear. It is beautiful after a dry summer.

Remember that Christ is the reason for the season. I would love to hear who is visiting you and yours and how everyone is fairing this winter.
