Again I want to apologize for no news last week. We were out of town checking to see what the beach is like during the winter. It was lovely. The beach was lovely and clean.

We now have a new oven for people to use when renting the Community Center. Thanks to all of you who helped by coming to the Brashear Bash I and II and Cumby Telephone for their help. We are blessed to have so many people who helped to make this possible.

Our next goal is to have a local health fair at the Brashear Community Center. Stay tuned for more details. We will make sure you know about the date and more information about what tests will be run.

While driving through Brashear on Tuesday night, we enjoyed the Christmas lights. I think Joanne and Randy Potter are in the running for the prettiest lights and decorations. How does a lighting decoration contest sound for our community next year? I think we could show some exciting things here in Brashear.

So glad to hear David Burns is doing better. I was told he has preached the last two Sundays. Keep on trucking, David.

We went on a Christmas shopping excursion today at Stonebriar Mall. So glad to have such fun with some great ladies.

Do not forget the Christmas Parade this Friday night. I think the weather forecast is going to be for good weather. Fun times in Sulphur Springs.

I have a new e-mail address: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . Please feel free to e-mail me with any news that you want to share. Call me at the same number 903-612-8806; and remember to come on by County Road 1119 and visit us. We will have Christmas lights up in the back yard. We decorate the back yard because there are not many cars that go by here.

Take care and be safe. Remember the reason for the holiday season, our Savior's birth.
