The Christmas season means a lot to everyone. Christmas cards have been a part of our holiday tradition until this year. I have run out of time and energy to send out cards, so I would just like to say thanks to everyone who has sent us a card, and there are many. I will be sending out e-cards on the computer, but I just can’t get the drive to send out regular cards. Please forgive me.
Sure enjoyed the Cumby Telephone Open House last week. I ran into several people I had not seen in a long time. Johnny and Mary Lynn Ferguson and Yvonne Rollins were there. It was sure good to see them. I worked with both of them at Sulphur Springs High School. Joanne and Randy Potter were there and also Glen and Mary Stroh. There were a lot of good people there enjoying the good refreshments.
I know my family does not read this so I can write about how much sewing I am getting done for Christmas. (Nine pajama pants made and only six more to go. Big family.)
Congratulations to my daughter-in-law on her graduation from Paris Junior College. This is quite an accomplishment to a mom with four children. Jamie, we are so proud of you.
New neighbors are moving in; I cannot wait to meet them. Hope they enjoy the quiet pace of County Road 1119.
Happy birthday to Seth Stout, Dec. 15; C.M. Fowler and Victoria Lytle, Dec. 17; Donna McCraw and Lawanna Wilcox, Dec. 20; and Nathan George, Dec. 21. I know that people with birthdays close to Christmas have it hard. I hope you all have a great birthday.
