Brashear News for Dec. 8, 2010

E-mail Print PDF
First, I would like to apologize for no Brashear News last week. Tom and I decided to go on a short trip to New York City. Wow, what a trip! We had a wonderful time exploring the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island and everything on Broadway. We would love to tell everyone about our trip — just ask.

A very big apology to Glen George. I mentioned Gene George for bringing the stew pot to the Nov. 20 chili supper benefiting the community center, but it was Glen George. If all of you George boys would wear name tags, I could keep them straight! Seriously, there is no excuse for putting the wrong name down. I sincerely hope I can keep the names straight from now on. I have had several people inquire about our next “Save the Community Center” event. It will be in March and some of the details are still being nailed down. Be sure to read the Brashear News for upcoming details.

Happy birthday to Crystal Gafford, Dec. 6; Liz Keller and Brent Vice, Dec. 8; Jonie Stone, Dec. 9; Christian Contreras, Dec. 12; and Marsha Krotly, Dec. 13.

Please put the Arledge family in your prayers. We want them to feel the prayers going up for them.

Have a good week and keep the faith this holiday season. Notice the beautiful lighting around Brashear; the Potters and the Winchesters have great decorations. Let me know if you have some great decorations you would like to share.

Thank you for all of your concerns and good wishes. Please get in touch with me and let me know what is going on in Brashear.
