Chad and Ryan Nalls of Cumby both shot a whitetail buck on opening morning with their rifles while on a hunt together in Brady, Texas. Chad shot his 8-point first, followed by eight-year old Ryan taking a 7-point a little while later.

Strickland took the boys to a ground blind at the family lease. About 15 minutes into the hunt, Riley lined up on a nice doe and dropped her with a single shot .243. After retrieving the deer and getting reset, Dylan took his doe an hour later with the same gun.
