LINDEN – With the addition of four talented musicians, Jackson Browne's 2012 Acoustic Tour show at Linden's Music City Texas Theater promises to be a very special evening. Playing guitar and piano, Jackson will be joined by Guitarist Val McCallum and percussionist Fritz Lewak to perform songs from his entire body of work, with varying set lists each night.

Singer-songwriter and fiddle player Sara Watkins will open the show, beginning at 8 p.m. Her set will feature Sean Watkins on guitar and Tyler Chester on acoustic bass.
Announcing this lineup, a spokesperson for Creative Artists Agency says "Since Jackson has essentially incorporated Sara into his set, there are eventually 6 people on stage."
The intimate nature of Music City Texas Theater's 400-seat venue will provide the setting for what is sure to be a concert experience to remember.
Sara Watkins along with brother Sean first gained recognition as a founding members of the Grammy-winning trio Nickel Creek. “Sun Midnight Sun,” the second solo album from the acclaimed singer, songwriter, and fiddle player was released in May.
“I’m really excited to have Sara joining me on this tour,” says Jackson. “We've played together a number of times in the last few years, and it's always been a thrill for me. I'm floored by her amazing instrumental virtuosity and by her beautiful voice, and most of all, I love her songs.”
Browne has written and performed some of the most literate and moving songs in popular music and has defined a genre of songwriting charged with honesty, emotion and personal politics. He was honored with induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2004, and the Songwriter’s Hall of Fame in 2007.
Browne will donate $1 from each ticket sold on the 2012 U.S. Acoustic Tour to charity.
Reserved seating tickets for the Nov. 5 show are $100 and are on sale now. Showtime is 8 p.m. and the doors open at 6:30 p.m. Information is available at www.jacksonbrowne.com.
