HOPKINS COUNTY Sheriff’s Office’s D.A.R.E, Program will hold a bowling tourney from 9 a.m. to noon May 19 (one week earlier than originally planned as it was originaly scheduled on Memorial Day weekend) at Classic Lanes. Entry is $100 for a four person team or $25 per person the day of the event; individuals will be placed on a team. Door prizes will be drawn at the event and pins spotted for amateur bowlers based on an honesty system; trophies and prizes will be $150 and trophy for first place, $100 and trophy for second place, “Mercy” trophy for last place, $50 for best game, $100 for best series and a “Worst Bowler” Award.
