If your into Catch & Release fishing, or just like to eat fish… you can still have that catch of a lifetime mounted and hanging on the wall. Just get the length and girth measurements, then take a few pictures. From that, the taxidermist can make a beautiful fiberglass replica of your "Ten Pounder".
There is also the freeze-dried method that's becoming more popular these days… it works well on smaller pan size fish.
Today I finally got to see Chris' fish mount that he's been talking about.
It's a kind of a freeze dry process and the color is very realistic.
Looks more like really "dried" fish to me… You get what you pay for… so if the price is FREE, you can't complain.
I hope that's the only way I meet one of these guys. But then how many anglers have a Piranha fish mount like this?
Why let the truth stand in the way of a good fish story?
