OK, I'll try getting something started...
What is your favorite holiday?
I think we should include anything marked on the calendar... not just days that one gets a day off from work. Some may like the party on St. Patrics Day, or the chocolate heart on Valentines Day. Christmas may have a special memory from childhood, or a religious significance. How about the practical jokes on April Fools Day.... :P
So... What is your favorite holiday?
No Shame, share a story with us...
:silly:  ;) B) :)

Thanksgiving...
A friend of mine thinks Thanksgiving is the best holiday... you don't have to buy gifts for anyone, you don't have to get up early to go to church, you just get to sit around all day with friends and family, eating good food, and watching football on TV.
Me thinks that has possibilities...
(except if you're the one doing all the cooking) :woohoo:

I agree with your friend, Stan. Thanksgiving is my favorite for pretty much the same reasons. To me it's a 'no stress holiday'. Also, it is in the fall and fall is my favorite time of the year. :)
Guilt is concerned with the past. Worry is concerned about the future. Contentment enjoys the present.
