Where is your class ring?

Remember how some guys gave their ring to their girlfriend?
She had to put a roll of tape on it so it would fit her finger.

Other girls wore his class ring on a chain.

Some people didn't even get one. (Waste of money-my daughter) :P

Some class rings didn't look like a "class" ring and could be worn
more as jewelry on many occasions. (my cousin)

The class before us had a choice of what color stone they could get...
Blue, red, green, etc. (we had to choose blue)

Some rings were lost, others worn a few times and never worn again.

My HS Class Ring is in a cigar box in the gun safe... been in that box for about 45 years now. Wore it a month or so, then put it in the box. (with the price of gold.... wonder what it's worth today?)
So, what's your story, where is your HS Class Ring today? :)
Why let the truth stand in the way of a good fish story?

My HS ring is in a drawer. I never wore it much. Our mascot was a kangaroo (Weatherford). On the girls' rings, it resembled a squished rat rather than a kangaroo. I wonder if the pitcher from the Orioles has his "roo ring? I noticed the announcers (on Sat. during the Rangers game) referred to him as graduating from Weatherford. Our stone was blue. It was a nice ring for the times ('70's). Still, that kangaroo was an unusual mascot. No Wildcat, Lion, Tiger, or Bear--Oh, my!

mine's in the jewelry box - haven't worn it since i graduated college.

my stone was blue, just your typical standard blue since we were "blue and gold", right? LOL.

my one complaint about my class ring was that the inside part of the loop - the part that's facing the palm of the hand - was flattened before I ever got it & was shipped to me like that. consequently, after a couple years, the main stress point cracked through the band.

My college ring is in sock drawer for safe keeping. Looks like it shrunk, tho. I can't get it on. :cheer:

When I finished my college work I got one of those rings. Had it for 3 days and the cat ran off with it. Best I can tell, she put it in the cat box and it became...ahem...history. I think she was telling me what she thought of my accomplishments.

Me and my husband melted ours down into two wedding bands back when we got married. (stoneage era). We didn't have a lot of money to spend.

I "lost" my class ring my junior year. Took it off and set it on the little shelf that was below the seat on the old student desks. It was English class. Realized it and came back for it -- but it was gone. Never saw it again and my parents were like "you want us to buy you another what??"

Needless to say I don't have a class ring anymore. :(
