Wonder what they are going to change their name to, since it is no longer a winery. Don't go like I use to because they don't have the wine. I did find their wine at Black Jack's and cheaper.
Guess if I want to go out downtown, I will go to MJ's. :(

It doesn't feel like a pub any more. Seafood you eat by the ocean and I am not a steak eater, so I guess MJ's or Burton's will get my money. :cheer:

What happened to the winery? Tell me they still are producing!
So, what is the new format?

All of the wines are still available but are under the Crump Valley Vineyards label. They can be purchased at Cooter Brown's in Winfield, Blackjack Package Store in Cumby or Ladles to Linens in Winnsboro.

Thanks, insstx! Been wondering if their wines were still available, but too lazy to find out for myself!

Ok, here’s the scoop. LV Restaurant and the winery were operated as two separate businesses within the same building. The decision was made to separate in order to allow the restaurant to get a private club permit to sell beer as well as wine and to allow the winery business to grow.

We (Crump Valley Vineyards) are working towards getting a tasting room at the winery for visitors to purchase the wines, but it will sometime next year since we are so busy with the commercial/wholesale part.

I've got a story planned for the paper ... hopefully, it will help sort out all the details.

Now, to find the time to transcribe 25 minutes of conversation ...

Some changes are not good. I liked LouViney when it was in Winnsboro. You could sit outside even though it was by a main road. It was just a nice relaxing atmosphere. When it moved to SS, I took all my out of town guests there. They loved it, but mostly the wine. Now really don't have a place to go to for relaxing atmosphere and enjoy a glass of wine.

Went to MJ's the other night, won't go back. :(
