Stan's Way:

1. Open beer ( or any beverage of your choice ) take a big swig.......

2. Put beer in Cabela's beer can cooker.

3. Wash and dry chicken. Rub with your favorite spice rub. Tony’s Cajin Spice works well.

4. Place chicken body cavity over beer. (stick the beer in the rear..... of the chicken.

5. Place in a pan (to catch drippings)

6. Cook in the oven at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.

7. Enjoy

How about this recipe?
1. Buy fried chicken at Brookshire's and take home.
2. Open a can of beer.
3. Drink beer and eat chicken.
4. (For an alternative recipe, you can use pizza, hamburgers, etc.)
:P :cheer:

We've also tried other beverages... Sprite, Coke, Paso-Grava, even orange juice, and wine.
Beer seems to taste the best... (for the cooking, you understand)
LOL LOL LOL

Since when could you buy beer in SS?

Still can't. But Cumby isn't too far away.
Right, Sammie?

Sorry, I can't help but laugh when I look at these chickens sitting there, as if on the "Throne"

Stan,
Beer is now available also in Greenville and Emory. Wolfe City is voting soon on an option for sales there. Paris is also "wet." SS is gradually being surrounded by cities keeping the sales tax on beer and wine for their own local coffers.

We are very lucky to have the Lou Viney Restaurant and Winery operating on Main Street. :)
