I attended a function at the Sr. Citizens Center tonight. It was very enjoyable. Great food, nicely decorated, good conversation, etc. The only issue was how crowded it was. I am wondering why our town can't help the seniors get a larger building with more parking so more can attend the functions. This one had to be limited to a certain number due to lack of space. I know there are a lot of things the center offers for this community of seniors, not to mention the 'meal a day' program is also run out of there. Granted I don't attend many 'senior functions', but I'm sure as I get older I will. I just hope we can do something about finding a larger place for us 'seniors' to go.
Anyone know of a building that might could be used for this purpose??
