Serendipity can be defined as unexpected good fortune by finding something valuable or agreeable that you aren’t looking for, or good luck in making unexpected and fortunate discoveries. This year, it could also be defined as moving the World Champion Hopkins County Stew Contest to Buford Park.
The 2009 Main Street Farmers’ Market will be closing up shop next month, but the successful venue — voted one of the top 60 in the nation in a recent online contest — has some special events planned to end the season.
