Eleven Business Professionals of America students representing Sulphur Springs High School qualified recently for the state BPA contest after competing in the Area I Region III Leadership Conference and Contest at Heritage High School in Frisco.
Sulphur Springs and the surrounding area will be cast in a new light this spring. It's the lights of ABC's television news program Nightline. The Nightline crew is in town this weekend preparing for the launch of the “One Month to Live” challenge, which is scheduled for 6 p.m. Sunday at the Hopkins County Regional Civic Center and which will involve at least 35 churches and thousands of individuals in and around Sulphur Springs. It is the largest such event in the nation.
