Rangers, Harrison nip Arizona, 1-0

ARLINGTON (AP) — Matt Harrison is giving the Texas Rangers just the kind of boost they need after a sudden string of pitching injuries.
Harrison extended his consecutive scoreless streak to 16 1-3 innings, pitching into the eighth before Mike Adams and Joe Nathan closed out the Rangers' third shutout victory in their past five games, 1-0 over the Arizona Diamondbacks on Wednesday night.

Cain pitches perfect game vs. Astros

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — Matt Cain and his wife, Chelsea, returned to the field an hour and a half later for a few more perfect memories. They snapped photos on the mound, posing with the workers who tore it down so the dirt could be sent to the Hall of Fame.

CB Jenkins at Cowboys' minicamp

IRVING (AP) — Mike Jenkins has finally rejoined his Dallas Cowboys teammates. The disgruntled and injured cornerback still hasn't practiced.
After skipping voluntary workouts while rehabilitating from shoulder surgery, and after the Cowboys added two prominent cornerbacks this offseason, Jenkins was at Valley Ranch on Tuesday for the start of a mandatory veteran minicamp. He ran a few sprints and watched a few plays but remained sidelined because of his shoulder.
