CLEVELAND (AP) — A glaring problem cost Yu Darvish and the Texas Rangers.
Ubaldo Jimenez pitched seven scoreless innings and Asdrubal Cabrera hit a two-run double after the Rangers lost an infield popup in the sun as the Cleveland Indians handed Darvish his first major league loss, 4-2 Sunday.

Rangers fall to Cleveland, 6-3

CLEVELAND (AP) — Johnny Damon was signed to give the Cleveland Indians a bit of a jolt.
Turns out, the Indians' young players have provided the 38-year-old outfielder with a lift, too.

No Mo this year, Rivera will return in 2013

NEW YORK (AP) — For 15 years, Mariano Rivera has decided when the game ends.
Even with a freakish injury that has likely ended his season, he is promising to close out his remarkable career on his own terms and vows to return no later than next spring.

Thunder takes 3-0 series lead over Mavs

DALLAS (AP) — Dirk Nowitzki leaned back in the chair at the podium, trying to explain what went wrong for the Dallas Mavericks once they got home for the playoffs.
