SS golfers sixth in Longview event

    LONGVIEW — District 15-5A rival Texas High battled windy conditions and a strong field of teams to earn a seven-shot victory on Monday at the 43rd annual Lobo Invitational Golf Tournament held at Pinecrest Country Club.
    The Tigers, paced by a third-place individual finish from Austin Pinkham (75), turned in a 318 team total. District counterpart Hallsville was second with a 325, followed by Pleasant Grove at 330, Trinity School of Texas at 332 and the host Lobos at 338 to round out the top five.
