    MOUNT PLEASANT — Sulphur Springs teams did well in recent middle school track action held in Mount Pleasant.
    The seventh and eighth grade boys and the eighth grade girls took top honors from the talented field according to coaches. Below are listed Sulphur Springs finishers in the top six.

    The Lady Cats took an 18-4 District 15-5A win over the Lady Mavericks in a Tuesday game at Lady Cat Park.

    LINDALE — The Sulphur Springs boys are tied for first place after one round of District 15-5A golf action at Garden Valley Resort and Golf Club.
    Sulphur Springs and Texas High both had 304 team totals from the first round of play Monday in the boys division.
