The end of the year was such an abrupt halt, it felt like the entire football season came to a crashing end all at one time on a cool, windy night in Waco.
When that happens, it is easy just to see the defeat. In this case, the very disappointing 58-44 loss at the hands of the Bastrop Bears.
In a game with so many twists and turns, you can just think about what might have been instead of looking at the season overall. It was a year to remember, the Wildcats averaged 44 points a game and took second place in district.
