A&M-COMMERCE GRADUATES 1,028 AT MAY COMMENCEMENT

Stacy Thrush of Lone Oak graduated with a Bachelor of Science with High Honors from Texas A&M University-Commerce on May 16. Her honors thesis was on the             COMMERCE, Texas - Dr. Wright Lassiter, chancellor of the Dallas County Community College District, stressed the importance of having the ability to improvise in life at Texas A&M University-Commerce Commencement on May 16.

             Paris Junior College Volleyball Camp will feature two sessions, according to Coach Justin Maness. Camp for girls 4th through 8th grade will meet from 8:30 a.m. to noon, June 8-11. Check- in and on-site registration will be held from 7-8 a.m.

PJC Regents Modify Policies, Adopt New Mandatory Success Course

Much of the Paris Junior College Board of Regent’s meeting May 18th was taken up with housekeeping chores of updating policies and procedures, as required by changes in state and federal law and with the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board.  The Regents also discussed and approved a new mandatory success course to help students successfully complete classes and graduate.
