So, after 2 1/2 months I finally gave in. I went back to the soap opera I’ve literally watched on and off over the years all my life — yep it’s been on that long. But, I got mad at it for stupid plot flubs and habe boycotted it for a few months.

The Main Street Farmers’ Market has jumped more spots in the online contest ranking the best such venues around. About a dozen more votes have been added in the past two days or so, pushing the local market to 6th in Texas and 88th in the nation


The love just keeps coming for the Main Street Farmers’ Market

A week after the News-Telegram urged people to vote for the Main Street Farmers’ Market in an online contest that pays the winner $5,000, the votes for Sulphur Springs have more than tripled.

Isn’t technology great? Yeah, until it fails, then you’re left scrambling.

Take this week for instance. Monday was especially bad for me. Let’s just say before the night was over I was afraid to touch my microwave and DVD player.
