Tira volunteer firefighter Kevin Wingfield Jr. was killed in a one vehicle accident on Tuesday, Aug. 6. Funeral arrangements are pending. The Delta County Sheriff's Office, where Kevin was employed as a deputy/jailer, is collecting donations to help with funeral expenses. We want to extend our sympathy and prayers to the family.

Sandra Wester and Linda Andrasko went to Arkansas on Wednesday to meet the Jeter family for a few days of vacation. They stayed in a house with a beautiful view of Beaver Lake. They went to Bentonville on Thursday to the Crystal Bridges Art Museum
