It’s almost time for the annual Tira Homecoming, which will be held on Sunday, July 5. Dusti Evans James is planning a special video presentation, including pictures, memories and history collected from families who have roots in Tira. In the event of rain, the lunch will be held at the Tira Community Center. Donations for the upkeep of the cemetery are appreciated and may be given at the homecoming or may be mailed to Floyd Payton, Chairman of the Perpetual Care Committee, 1601 County Road 4612, Sulphur Springs, TX 75482.
