Chad and Ryan Nalls of Cumby both shot a whitetail buck on opening morning with their rifles while on a hunt together in Brady, Texas. Chad shot his 8-point first, followed by eight-year old Ryan taking a 7-point a little while later.
Teresa Starrett, wife of Charles Starrett of Yantis, killed this 9-point buck in Hopkins County on Sunday, Nov. 7, at 5:10 p.m., using her 30.06 rifle in her back pasture. The deer had a 22 3/8-inch spread and scored 153 on the B&C point system. This is not her first deer, but it is her best deer out of the three she has taken. Submitted photo
