Rain has been so good. Garden growing great guns. Tom picked a pickup truck load of greens and turnips today. I think the Dinner Bell is serving greens on Wednesday. Turnip and mustard greens that is. I am loving the spinach that he has been picking. New potatoes will be picked by the end of the week.

I would like to express my sympathies to the Alexander family on the loss of Marieta Alexander.

I got a call from Jennifer Caudle wanting everyone to get their 911 numbers on their house and mailboxes. This is important for first responders, firemen and emergency medical services personnel to know how to find you. If you are unable to get your numbers posted where they can be seen, please call me and I will let the necessary people know. The Brashear volunteer firemen are currently assembling a Brashear directory so they can find you when there is a call. Thanks.
