Dallas company to buy Tulsa refinery

TULSA, Okla. (AP) — The Sunoco refinery in Tulsa is being sold to a Dallas company for $65 million dollars.

Sunoco and Holly Corp. announced the sale on their Web sites Thursday,

The agreement calls for Holly to invest in several upgrades that company officials say are needed to ensure the long-term viability and environmental compliance of the refinery.

Texas gas prices hold steady at $1.97

HOUSTON (AP) — The retail price of gasoline held steady for the third week in a row across Texas at $1.97 a gallon.

AAA Texas on Tuesday reported the nationwide average price remained at $2.05 a gallon.

RadioShack expands electronics trade-in program

FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) — Electronics retailer RadioShack Corp. said Wednesday it is expanding its online electronics trade-in program to 4,400 company-owned stores across the country.

Dallas-based Dean Foods closing Neb. dairy plant

LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) — A Texas-based company will be closing its Meadow Gold dairy plant in Lincoln, costing about 60 people their jobs.

On Tuesday, Dean Foods spokeswoman Marguerite Copel in Dallas confirmed the closing to the Lincoln Journal Star but did not give a firm date or provide other information. She did not immediately return a call Wednesday from The Associated Press.

Man hit after removing Cowboys car flag from car

WASHINGTON (AP) — Police say a man was punched in the face after grabbing a Dallas Cowboys flag from a car in downtown Washington.

D.C. police Lt. Eric Hayes says someone snatched the flag from a car as it was stopped in traffic Tuesday evening and apparently threw it to the ground.
