Bricks from street work put into storage

Although one street has been closed, another rerouted and a detour now runs through part of the parking lot on the square, City Manager Marc Maxwell said one of the main questions still being asked is what will happen to the bricks that have been removed from Connally Street.

Three teens detained after vehicle burglaries

Police and deputies caught three teens moments after they broke into one vehicle early this morning and found evidence they believe connects the trio to a burglary on Woodbridge Crossing as well, according to police reports.

RSVP Banquet Honors Volunteers

Two Hopkins County women were recognized for the tireless hours they donate to serve others in the community. A facility manned mostly by senior citizens for people age 50 and up also was honored during the RSVP Annual Spring Awards Banquet.
