Douglas school would expand under bond proposal

Sulphur Bluff places second at district UIL meet; 14 students advance to region

Sulphur Bluff students’ scores at the Academic University Interscholastic League meet this week were high enough to place the students in second place overall at the district meet. The Bluff trailed Savoy, 234 to 432 points (which included Savoy’s 44 points for One Act Play).

Stepping up to the plate at Opening Day Ceremony

Sweeties team member Paige Seagraves heads to home plate in Darling Field to receive a prize for being a top seller in the girls softball fundraiser as 42 girls softball teams applaud. Paige sold seven cases with 50 candy bars each. Other prizes were awarded during the Girls Softball 2009 Season Opening Ceremony held in Buford Park Saturday morning.
