Deadline to design a stew contest T-shirt is Wednesday, Aug. 18

The Hopkins County Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring a design contest for this year’s stew contest T-shirt. The winning design will be sold on the stew grounds during the 41st Annual World Champion Hopkins County Stew Contest.


Two 'candy' burglars in police custody

Two juveniles, 14 and 15, are in custody on burglary charges for break-ins at City Pool, the Equine Pavilion at Hopkins County Regional Civic Center and Gerald Prim Stadium.
