All in the family: Theft charges filed by sister against brother

A Saltillo man found out the hard way Monday that taking items from family members without permission is not a good idea.


Candy for Coats

Carol Palmer of Candy Bouquet delivers the 75 coats she has collected to CANHelp representative Dawn Sheffield. Palmer has been running a Candy for Coats promotion, where anyone who brings in one coat gets a truffle. People who bring in 10 coats or blankets will receive half-pound tub of fudge. Two cut out of pickup, sent to hospital after wreck Sunday

Two women were transported to the hospital early Sunday morning after being cut out of a pickup which crashed into a concrete pillar in Sulphur Springs, according to fire reports.

David Friddle with Luminant, Denise McCarty from the North Texas Food Bank, Charles Sickles, Ricky Godwin with Luminant, Melba Sickles, Michael Moore, Elaine Cox and Teresa Huff celebrate the generous donations from Luminant employees to help provide meals to those less fortunate this holiday season. Luminant employees donated $220 each to Fruitful Harvest Ministries, Calvary Baptist Church and Pine Forest United Methodist Church to be used toward food from the North Texas Food Bank.
