Choral Society Goes Shopping for Empty Stocking Fund

Members of Northeast Texas Choral Society’s volunteer committee did some early Christmas shopping Saturday as part of their new partnership with the Empty Stocking Fund.


More problems found at HCMH; repair costs may reach $2 million

Hopkins County Memorial Hospital's board of directors were told Monday that repairs to damages caused by a broken water line in September may not be complete until sometime in January, and the costs may top $2 million.

ECLC parents tour library

Parents of Early Childhood Learning Center Head Start students take a tour of the Sulphur Springs Public Library led Thursday by Dr. Cheryl Lawson. Parents had a chance to renew their library cards or obtain one during the trip to promote literacy in their children’s lives.
