Pie a la Brock ‘n’ Barry

Brookshire’s Assistant Store Manager Brock Hohenberger and Store Director Barry Halcomb were  covered in pie filling after their names were called as the winners of the Brookshire’s pie-in-the-face contest benefitting last weekend’s 2010 Relay for Life. Each received  more than $250 in donations for people to see them get “pied” – all for a good cause.

Bricks from street work put into storage

Although one street has been closed, another rerouted and a detour now runs through part of the parking lot on the square, City Manager Marc Maxwell said one of the main questions still being asked is what will happen to the bricks that have been removed from Connally Street.

Three teens detained after vehicle burglaries

Police and deputies caught three teens moments after they broke into one vehicle early this morning and found evidence they believe connects the trio to a burglary on Woodbridge Crossing as well, according to police reports.
