Relay For Life of Hopkins County Committee and team members will be busy this week finishing up last minute details to ensure the 2009 fund-raising event goes off without a hitch Friday night.


Local businessman donates trees for Equine Pavilion landscape project

The Equine Pavilion at Hopkins County Regional Civic Center should be showing its Wildcat pride this fall, compliments of a new county businessman who donated more than $1,000 worth of trees to the landscaping project undertaken by the Sulphur Springs High School advanced placement biology class.


Early voting jump starts election Monday

Early voting in person begins Monday and will continue weekday through May 5 for trustees elections at four rural school districts, as well as a school bond election in Sulphur Springs. The general elections will be conducted Saturday, May 9.
