‘Prom Night at the Casino’ set Saturday at Senior Citizens Center

The folks at the Senior Citizens Center may not be spring chickens, but they sure aren’t letting any grass grow under their feet. In addition to the usual slate of weekly and monthly activities geared toward individuals 55 and older, the center has added three events.

Meet and greet slated June 19 at sheriff’s department

Hopkins County residents will have an opportunity to get to know the deputies from the sheriff’s department, as well as cadets from East Texas Police Academy’s Sulphur Springs night class during a “meet and greet” planned for Saturday, June 19, at the sheriff’s department.
