Summer Games

‘Blue Chip’ mustache

Yantis English teacher L. H. (Chip) Mathews promised his students that he would dye his mustache bright blue if 90 percent of each class passed their TAKS tests and a signficant number of them achieved commended performance. The kids came through, and Mathews kept his word. Students Gloria Rivera, Blanca Reyna, Crystal Batista and Bailey Hunt enjoy a moment of fun with Mathews after school Wednesday.

SBISD Science Fair winners

Sulphur Bluff Independent School District 5th and 6th grade 1st - 3rd place Science Fair winners were Taylor Self, Jarred Burleson and Justin Goldsmith, Cody Vance and Hudson Northcutt.
