City National Bank CFO and Executive Vice President Ricky Reynolds hands a $5,000 donation from the bank to Pamela Elliott, representing the Hopkins County Veterans Memorial Committee Friday morning, accompanied by CNB employees and VFC members. CNB has pledged a total of $15,000 to the Veterans Memorial Committee to be donated over a period of three years.

The fourth day of the murder retrial of John Walters, accused of killing his older brother Russell Walters Jr. in 2004, continued Thursday with the defendant testifying he fired his pistol at Russell out of fear his brother was about to shoot him.
