Charges dismissed in Paris dragging death; racially charged murder cases were scheduled to be tried at Hopkins County Courthouse

Charges have been dropped against two men from Lamar County in a racially charged dragging murder case that had been scheduled to be tried in Sulphur Springs.

Douglas Intermediate School students run toward summer directly after the last school bell of the year. Teachers and students of the school wished each other a good vacation with hugs and high fives as they passed through the school’s double doors for the last time. The students will  start classes at Sulphur Springs Middle School in the fall.
