District 13-4A action resumes for Lady Cats, Wildcats tonight

The Christmas holiday break is over and the Sulphur Springs basketball teams join their 13-4A counterparts as they resume district play.

The Lady Cats and Wildcats take on foes tonight from Sherman.

Sulphur Springs will host Sherman in girls action at the high school gym beginning with the freshman game at 5 p.m., followed by the JV game at 6:15 p.m. and varsity action at 7:30 p.m.

Ken and Amy Sharp top Classic Lanes’ bowlers in the final week of 2010

The last week of bowling in the calendar year of 2010 saw the husband and wife duo of Ken and Amy Sharp claim top honors with husband Ken posting two 700s, a 758 and a 728, while wife Amy topped the ladies with a 686 set.
