LAKE BOB SANDLIN — Teams and individuals from Sulphur Bluff and Saltillo ran well Wednesday in the District 22-1A cross country race.
It’s a big game to be played under usual circumstances.
The Sulphur Springs Wildcats and Marshall Mavericks clash Friday at a neutral site.
Wondering why? Blame it on the rain or Halloween.
The teams play at 7:30 p.m. at Mount Pleasant’s Sam Parker Field due to wet playing conditions at Gerald Prim Stadium in Sulphur Springs.
“We hated to give up a home game, but we figured this was better for all involved,” said Sulphur Springs head football coach Greg Owens.
