Ken and Amy Sharp top Classic Lanes’ bowlers in the final week of 2010

The last week of bowling in the calendar year of 2010 saw the husband and wife duo of Ken and Amy Sharp claim top honors with husband Ken posting two 700s, a 758 and a 728, while wife Amy topped the ladies with a 686 set.

Wildcats lose to Whitehouse in Wagstaff Classic finale

TYLER — The Sulphur Springs Wildcats fell 67-33 in Thursday afternoon action against Whitehouse in the consolation round of the Wagstaff Classic.

The Whitehouse Wildcats bolted to a quick 42-13 lead at the half. Again the Sulphur Springs squad was a victim of cold shooting in the event held on the campus of Tyler Junior College.
