Construction Zone: Work begins on 2010 Wildcat football squad

The beep, beep, beep sound you hear coming from near the field house is heavy equipment being used in the construction of a bright, new future building for Sulphur Springs.

So it is only fitting that football practice starts Monday, just a long punt from the place where the multipurpose building is being constructed  on the Sulphur Springs High School campus.


SS girls open volleyball practice

The Sulphur Springs Lady Cats begin practice Monday in anticipation of a good season with an experienced team.

Head coach Brandi Small will be in her second full season at the helm.


Local teams making plans for practice, season openers

Practice makes perfect. Monday, Aug. 2 marks the official end of summer for area athletes. Local teams will be reconvening and getting back into shape.


Football ticket sales open Monday

Season tickets for the 2010 Sulphur Springs Wildcats’ home football games will be on sale beginning Monday and continuing through Friday, Sulphur Springs High School Administrative Assistant Dwayne McMeans announced.
