Ten Star All-Star Basketball Camp

Final applications are now being evaluated for the Ten Star All-Star Summer Basketball Camp. The Ten Star All-Star Summer Basketball Camp is by invitation only. Past participants include: Michael Jordan, Tim Duncan, Vince Carter, Jerry Stackhouse, Grant Hill, and Antawn Jamison. College basketball scholarships are possible for players selected to the All-American Team.

The hard work under the scorching Texas sun may seem like a high price to pay.

Especially when you have already been through a two-hour escalated fitness program.

But the big, beefy Sulphur Springs competitors in the Lineman Challenge don’t seem to mind.

All-Stars Advance to State -- Sulphur Springs 12-year old All-Star Baseball Team will trek to New Caney on July 11 for state tournament action

The 12-year old All-Star team finished with a loss, 6-2 in Tuesday night’s championship. The All-Star team finished as runners-up in the District 5 O-Zone Tournament held at Coleman Park in Sulphur Springs. They will advance to the state tournament to be held in New Caney, Texas beginning on July 11. The 12-year old All-Star team is (pictured above) front row from left, Greg Debase, Jonathan Gaddis, Drew Forsman, Alejandro Rosales, Dakota Emerson, Drew McCullough, head coach John McCullough, back row, coach David Maeker, Mason Maeker, C.J. Harrell, Hank Pryor, Chase Harry,  Silas Whaley, Justin Goldsmith, and coach Terry Goldsmith.

The Cubs Minor League Team, sponsored by Pizza Inn, won the city championship game on June 6.
