Lady Cats in hoop action Saturday

    The Sulphur Springs Lady Cats go for the second win of the young basketball season Saturday on the road.
    The Lady Cats, 1-0, play at Emory Rains. The JV game is at 11 a.m. the varsity at 1 p.m.

The little Wildcats are made up of players: Benjamin Lovelady, Alex King, Aidan McCarnell,Braylon McClure, Dallin Horton, Julian Clayton, Jeremiah Williams, Garrett Runyan, Wyatt Runyan, Nolan Schroeder, Braxtun Espinosa, Brayden Rose, Joshua Fulgium, Cazden Holton, PJ Mollenhour, Barek Hoffman, Demazio Cedrone, John Dixon, Michael Walker,Timothy Bolden, Kolby Steele, Tre Pannell, Mason Cooper, Amare Thomas, DaShaun Craddock, Adin Godbolt, Thomas Tollette, Kaden Bozeman and coaches: Matt Mason, Nick Pannell, Dustin Hoffman, Sean Espinosa and Chris Holton. The 1/2 grade little Wildcats have fought their way through this season, winning their playoff game and semi-finals, they will now meet the Brownsboro Bears this Saturday in Quitman, for the Supert Bowl. “These kids have grown so much this season, with some really incredible coaches behind them. The kids even played  three of their games in the pouring rain. They are pretty stout. They work so well as a team... they are friends that care about each other, they work together, and they play real hard. These kids are so excited. We would like to invite the entire community to come out and support our little boys this Saturday. Kickoff is set for 10 a.m. Saturday  at the Quitman Stadium,” said Brandy Runyan, team supporter.
