    The Sulphur Springs Lady Cats take their 17-3 record (3-0 in district) to Marshall tonight for a key district girls basketball game.
    The Lady Cats were listed as the No. 24-state ranked TABC Class 5A basketball poll.

    Welcome to the brave new world of 2017 and the return to District 16-5A competition for both Sulphur Springs varsity basketball teams.
    The Wildcats, 16-4 overall, 1-0 in district, hosting Marshall. Three games are slated with the freshmen starting at 5 p.m. followed by the junior varsity and varsity.
