SSSA hosting opening ceremony Saturday

Sulphur Springs Soccer Association will host an opening ceremony for fall soccer at Gerald Prim Stadium on Saturday 9 a.m. prior to the games that will commence at the fields at Coleman Park.

There will be a presentation of players, coaches and sponsors along with a prayer by Israel Lewis and the anthem sang by Katie Huff.

Lady Bears second, Cumby third at NH

BIRTHRIGHT — The Sulphur Bluff Lady Bears challenged the Rivercrest Lady Rebels in the Championship Consolation of the North Hopkins tournament. The Lady Bears lost in two games with scores of 12-25 and 24-26 giving them a 1-5 overall record for the year.
