Near misses for Sulphur Springs at regional track

DENTON — There were a lot of near misses and one maybe for the Sulphur Springs Wildcats in the final day of the Class 4A, Region II track and field meet on Tuesday.
One of the Wildcats’ relay teams finished third and another came in fourth, and two SSHS runners placed but narrowly missed the top two spots. Meanwhile, it looks like one Wildcat will be making the trip to Austin.
